Catalyst Solutions has announced the promotion of President Sas Mukherjee to also serve as Chief Executive Officer, marking a leadership transition nearly three decades after the company’s founding.
Mukherjee succeeds Founder and CEO Rachel Spilo, who will remain with Catalyst as Chairwoman of the Board. In addition, Spilo will assume full executive leadership as CEO of sister company healthplans.ai.
During more than two years at Catalyst, Mukherjee has overseen the company’s strategic vision, market positioning, growth initiatives, operational performance, and solution innovation. His tenure has included the expansion of AI-enabled BPO operations and the development of the platform-based BPaaS offering, Catalyze™ – Health Payer-in-a-Box, alongside efforts to strengthen leadership talent and drive value creation.
The transition is part of Catalyst’s long-term succession planning and reflects its continued focus on delivering outcome-driven solutions to healthcare payers navigating regulatory shifts, cost pressures, and changing member expectations.
