Caylent, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Tier Services Partner, announced the appointment of Valerie (Val) Henderson as chief executive officer, marking a leadership transition aimed at accelerating the company’s AI-driven services strategy.
Henderson will guide Caylent’s next phase as the company expands beyond traditional cloud projects to operate intelligent systems designed to continuously generate value for customers. The company’s offerings span cloud migration and modernization, data and analytics, generative AI, managed services, and agentic enablement capabilities built for organizations running on AWS.
The appointment follows a period of rapid growth for Caylent during Henderson’s tenure as president and chief revenue officer. Since joining the company in 2021, she has helped scale revenue more than fivefold while leading the strategic acquisition of Trek10, strengthening Caylent’s position as a dedicated AWS services partner. The company also launched Caylent Accelerate, an engineering system that uses agent-driven workflows to modernize applications, databases, and cloud platforms.
Caylent has also received significant industry recognition in recent years, including multiple AWS Partner of the Year awards. In 2025, the company was named Global Consulting Partner of the Year in categories including generative AI, migration, and security.
Henderson succeeds Lori Williams, who is stepping down as CEO after helping establish Caylent’s growth trajectory and partnership ecosystem. Henderson brings nearly two decades of experience in the technology sector and has built a reputation for scaling go-to-market organizations and strengthening cloud services partnerships.
