CAZ Investments Launches GP Stakes Growth Fund

CAZ Investments has launched the CAZ GP Stakes Growth Fund, a registered interval fund that gives investors exposure to the growth of private asset management firms.

The new vehicle joins the existing CAZ GP Stakes Income Fund to form the CAZ GP Stakes Fund Series.

CAZ describes the combined strategy as “GP Stakes, Your Way,” giving investors the ability to pursue income, long-term growth or a combination of the two approaches.

Both funds are open to investors regardless of accreditation status and have a $2,500 minimum investment.

The vehicles offer daily pricing and subscriptions along with structured liquidity through quarterly repurchase programs.

The funds charge a flat management fee and no performance fee and provide investors with 1099 tax reporting.

Because the vehicles are interval funds, their shares are not listed on a securities exchange and investors do not have a right to require the funds to redeem shares at any time. Liquidity is instead provided through the quarterly repurchase structure.

CAZ has allocated more than $8 billion to GP stakes investments during the past 10 years.

The firm currently holds minority ownership interests in more than 120 private asset managers spanning private equity, private credit and private real estate.

Houston-based CAZ has more than $12 billion in assets currently deployed and works with a global network of more than 9,700 investors in all 50 states and 43 countries.

Its network includes more than 500 wealth management firms, investment advisers, family offices and institutional investors.

“We believe owning a piece of a private asset manager is one of the most attractive business models we have seen in our 25 years of investing. We designed this fund series for our own personal capital, and now investors can customize their exposure to it. If your priority is income, the CAZ GP Stakes Income Fund was designed for you. If you are focused on long-term compounding, the CAZ GP Stakes Growth Fund was built for you. The fund series allows you to tailor your approach and select the combination that makes sense for you.”
