Cellulotech, an innovator in green chemistry and sustainable materials, announced the completion of a seed fundraising round led by Neglected Climate Opportunities, part of the Jeremy and Hannelore Grantham Environmental Trust. Meliorate Partners, an early-stage sustainability fund, also participated.
This funding will enable Cellulotech to scale its patented solvent-free cellulose functionalization technology, facilitating the replacement of plastic, PFAS, and other harmful materials. The technology offers a scalable, bio-based, cost-effective, and fully recyclable cellulose alternative for applications in paper, packaging, hygiene, textiles, and construction.
As the demand for sustainable solutions grows, Cellulotech is leading the charge with green technologies that meet regulatory standards and provide value, making sustainability the default choice without sacrificing performance or cost.
