CenCore has secured a $44 million contract from the Department of War in partnership with the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic to deliver modular facilities designed to address critical mission requirements and strengthen the Defense Industrial Base supply chain.
The contract aims to mitigate vulnerabilities that could threaten the development and sustainment of key national security capabilities. By delivering domestically manufactured modular infrastructure, the initiative is intended to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers and enhance resilience across the Defense Industrial Base.
Under the agreement, CenCore will design, manufacture, deliver, assemble, and install up to eight relocatable modular facilities, each approximately 4,800 square feet. The single-story buildings will be installed on pre-existing concrete pads at Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic sites in the Charleston, South Carolina region.
The modular facilities are designed to provide secure, scalable, and rapidly deployable infrastructure. Compared to conventional construction methods, the approach is expected to accelerate build timelines while offering greater flexibility and adaptability for evolving mission needs.
The Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic supports the U.S. Navy and joint forces by delivering information warfare capabilities, engineering expertise, and technology integration across all domains of naval operations.
Headquartered in Springville, Utah, CenCore provides U.S.-made, tech-agnostic, open-source security systems focused on secure global communications. The company emphasizes cost-effective, high-performance solutions tailored to address an evolving threat landscape.
