Centre Partners and Altivare Capital Partners have completed the acquisition of Navajo Expedited, a technology-enabled freight logistics company serving commercial shippers across the United States.
The investors plan to support the company’s growth through expanded shipper relationships, additional service offerings, investment in automation and driver-vetting technology, and complementary acquisitions. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, Navajo Expedited operates a network of more than 8,000 vetted drivers providing dry van and temperature-controlled transportation.
Its customers include companies across food and beverage, consumer packaged goods and industrial markets.
The company has invested in proprietary technology spanning pricing, carrier onboarding, compliance, dispatch, equipment tracking, driver vetting and fraud prevention.
Centre said the platform is also using agentic AI to improve driver vetting and load execution, helping automate functions where reliability and fraud prevention are increasingly important.
Founder and CEO Brandon Bodine will continue leading Navajo Expedited. He has more than 15 years of logistics experience, and the company’s core management team has worked together across multiple freight businesses.
The transaction was partially funded through Centre Strategic Solutions I, a vehicle created to support independent sponsor transactions in the North American lower middle market.
Centre Partners has invested approximately $2.8 billion of equity capital across more than 90 transactions since its founding in 1986.
