Centrical, a provider of frontline workforce performance solutions, announced a $39 million Series D funding round led by Leeds Illuminate and Kingfisher Investment, with participation from existing investors including JVP. The funding will support the company’s global expansion and accelerate the development of AI-powered tools designed to help enterprises manage and optimize performance across both human employees and digital workers.

Founded by CEO Gal Rimon, Centrical has positioned itself within the emerging Performance Intelligence category, helping organizations bridge the gap between business insights and frontline execution. The company’s platform combines performance data, coaching, learning, recognition, and AI-driven guidance to improve productivity, employee development, and business outcomes.

Rimon said the company was created to address a common challenge in business intelligence: organizations often have access to valuable insights but struggle to translate them into meaningful action. He noted that Centrical’s platform aims to guide employees toward the right actions, enable managers to provide more effective coaching, and autonomously drive improvements in business performance through a combination of agentic AI and human expertise.

Centrical works with large enterprises across industries, including banking, telecommunications, hospitality, customer service, and logistics. The company highlighted several customer outcomes achieved through its platform, including improved productivity, higher sales performance, increased loyalty program enrollment, better customer service metrics, and significant reductions in managers’ administrative workloads.

The company’s expanding AI portfolio includes AI-Assisted Coaching, which provides personalized performance guidance to managers; AI Role-Play Simulations that help employees prepare for complex customer interactions; Hyper-Personalized Performance Experiences that tailor coaching, training, and interventions to individual workers; and Autonomous Performance Intelligence, a system designed to automatically identify performance opportunities and trigger actions that improve frontline execution.

According to Centrical, these capabilities help organizations move beyond traditional dashboards and fragmented employee development programs toward a more autonomous approach to workforce performance management. The company is also developing industry-specific solutions intended to accelerate deployment and adoption for enterprise customers.

Investors cited both workforce transformation and business performance as key reasons for supporting the company.

Leeds Illuminate Principal Mahila Amjad emphasized the importance of helping organizations develop employee potential as frontline roles evolve and businesses increasingly focus on reskilling and workforce mobility.

Kingfisher Investment Managing Partner Yariv Robinson highlighted Centrical’s combination of enterprise adoption, measurable return on investment, operational profitability, and expansion within large global organizations as indicators of a scalable business model.

JVP Founder and Chairman Erel Margalit described Centrical as a company helping define the Performance Intelligence category at a time when organizations are rethinking how work is managed across human employees and AI-driven systems.

Alongside the funding announcement, Centrical launched its “People Make It Matter” campaign, which highlights the role of frontline employees, managers, and leaders in turning AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes. The initiative reflects the company’s belief that while AI can enhance performance, people remain central to organizational success.

Founded in 2013, Centrical serves Fortune 500 enterprises across 150 countries and supports operations in 60 languages. The company maintains offices in New York, Tel Aviv, and London, and counts organizations such as Deutsche Telekom, DHL, TP, major U.S. banks, and global hospitality brands among its customers.

KEY QUOTES:

“I founded Centrical after years in business intelligence watching the same broken loop: dashboards full of insights, but very little that actually moved the needle. The intelligence existed; it just didn’t act. We’re building the operating system that closes that gap, guiding employees to the right action, enabling managers to coach what matters, and driving business outcomes autonomously. The investment accelerates our mission to combine agentic AI and human expertise to continuously improve how enterprises empower millions of employees, human and AI, worldwide.”

Gal Rimon, Founder and CEO, Centrical

“What excites us about Centrical is its ability to develop human potential at scale. Frontline roles are evolving rapidly, and organizations need to continuously reskill and mobilize employees. The best enterprises bring their people real opportunities to grow into new roles through frictionless mobility built into the flow of work — balancing today’s performance with readiness for tomorrow. Organizations that get this right will build a workforce that’s more confident, more capable, and resilient as the business evolves.”

Mahila Amjad, Principal, Leeds Illuminate

“Centrical has built a rare and valuable combination of enterprise credibility, measurable ROI, and operational discipline. The company is growing within some of the largest and most complex organizations in the world, expanding across business units and geographies while achieving operational profitability. That demonstrates not just innovation, but a durable and scalable business model. We see significant global expansion potential ahead.”

Yariv Robinson, Managing Partner, Kingfisher Investment

“Centrical is defining the Performance Intelligence category at a pivotal moment, as enterprises rethink how they drive execution across a human and AI workforce. We invested early in the conviction that performance at any workplace would become a continuous, system-level capability, driven by real-time data, AI-powered guidance, and embedded development. Centrical is pioneering this model and is positioned to lead as the industry transforms how it serves customers worldwide.”
