Australasian real estate fund manager Centuria Capital Group has appointed 20-year retail veteran Gordon Smith as its new Fund Manager – Retail, effective from Monday, 27 July 2026.
Based in Centuria’s Perth office, Smith will oversee the $2.9 billion large format retail and daily needs retail portfolios nationwide, spanning more than 70 properties, and will be accountable for their performance, governance, management, and stakeholder engagement.
Reporting to Co-Head of Unlisted Funds Mark Lumby, Smith brings extensive experience across transactions, development, leasing, stakeholder and investor relations, and property and asset management across most Australian states. His previous roles include positions with Coles Group, Cosgrove Group, Hamilton Smith Consulting, Colliers International, AMP Capital, ING Real Estate Development, and Glasgow-based Space and People.
Centuria manages $21.8 billion of assets under management across Australia and New Zealand, including listed and unlisted real estate equity funds, real estate finance, and investment bonds.
