Ceros Financial Services Appoints Cassel Shapiro As Head Of Capital Markets

Ceros Financial Services, a national full-service broker-dealer focused on disruptive technologies, announced the appointment of Cassel Shapiro, CFA, as Head of Capital Markets.

Shapiro brings more than 20 years of experience in investment origination, trading, fund management, and investment banking. In his new position, he will oversee capital formation initiatives and strategic advisory services for private, public, and special situation ventures.

Before joining Ceros, Shapiro spent 15 years building a private equity investment banking practice. He also founded the Aegis Special Situations Funds and led the telehealth venture Skillr through its acquisition in 2024.

The appointment comes as Ceros continues to expand its investment banking and strategic advisory capabilities. The company said Shapiro’s experience across capital markets, private equity, and venture growth will support its efforts to serve both investors and issuers.

Founded in 1994, Ceros Financial Services is a full-service investment bank, brokerage platform, and advisory partner to investment management firms. The firm operates as a member of FINRA and SIPC and provides securities and advisory services through affiliated entities.
