Certares Real Estate Management and Clearview Hotel Capital announced the acquisition of the Hyatt Regency Savannah. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Hyatt Regency Savannah is a 351-room full-service hotel located in Savannah, Georgia.
The hotel originally opened in 1981 and occupies a riverfront location along River Street. The property includes 351 guestrooms, including 31 suites.
It also features more than 40,000 square feet of meeting and event space, multiple food and beverage outlets, and a parking garage that can accommodate more than 300 cars.
The hotel also provides direct access to Savannah’s Historic District.
Certares said the acquisition reflects its focus on investing in high-quality hospitality assets in markets with strong long-term demand fundamentals.
The firm said Savannah has become one of the fastest-growing hospitality markets in the U.S.
The market is supported by leisure travel, expanding group business demand following the Savannah Convention Center expansion, and economic growth driven by the Port of Savannah and broader regional development.
Certares and Clearview plan to invest in guestroom and guest-facing improvements.
The planned investments are intended to elevate the property’s competitive positioning while preserving its role as a destination for a wide range of travelers.
The transaction marks Certares’ 17th hotel acquisition since launching its real estate platform in 2021.
Across its real estate portfolio, Certares has acquired more than 4,000 hotel keys in premier travel destinations throughout the U.S.
Certares is a global investment firm focused on the travel and hospitality industries.
The firm had approximately $6.4 billion of regulatory assets under management as of December 31, 2025.
Clearview Hotel Capital is a real estate investment and advisory company founded in 2007.
Since inception, Clearview has invested in 71 hotels, representing more than $2 billion and 18,000 rooms.
