Certifyde, a New York-based AI adoption platform for modern businesses, has closed a $2 million seed round with participation from K5 Global and Flamingo Capital, alongside individual investors including George Ruan, co-founder of Honey, Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple Labs, Roland Peralta, founder of Nutrafol, professional tennis player Taylor Fritz, and musicians Diplo and Kygo.

Certifyde’s core product is the Productivity Companion, a browser extension that sits on top of existing productivity tools including Salesforce, Slack, and Google, delivering role-specific, contextual AI guidance in the flow of real work without requiring migration or disruption. The platform reinforces consistent AI habits, issues verified AI fluency credentials, and makes behavior change measurable across organizations. Customers have reported 40 to 70% productivity gains. The company also offers Academy, a centralized platform for ongoing education, compliance, and custom training and certification programs.

The funding addresses a documented gap in enterprise AI deployment. A recent McKinsey report found that while 88% of organizations are now using AI, nearly two-thirds have yet to scale it and only 39% report measurable bottom-line impact. Certifyde has active engagements with the NYC Department of Transportation, nationwide biomedical labs, and holds approved provider status with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System. Alongside the funding, Certifyde has appointed Dan Burns as Chief Revenue Officer. Proceeds will support sales and go-to-market expansion, product development, and infrastructure growth.

KEY QUOTES:

“Honey helped millions of people save money at the point of purchase. Certifyde brings that same in-workflow intelligence to the modern workforce, training thousands of healthcare professionals in real time, and ultimately helping improve outcomes for millions of lives.”

George Ruan, Co-Founder, Honey

“Unlike other workplace tools, Certifyde’s goal isn’t to replace people, but to empower them. By building AI adoption into the flow of real work, we’re giving individuals and teams the skills to focus on problem-solving, creativity, and impact.”
