Charityvest Appoints Matt Nash And James Lenhoff To Board Of Directors

Charityvest has appointed Matt Nash and James Lenhoff to its Board of Directors, adding experienced leaders from the donor-advised fund, nonprofit and wealth management sectors as the organization enters its next phase of growth.

Nash brings more than 20 years of experience in the donor-advised fund industry. He previously served as Senior Vice President at Fidelity Charitable, where he was part of the executive team and oversaw marketing, service, operations and the private donor group.

During his time at Fidelity Charitable, Nash also launched a dedicated program for ultra-high-net-worth donors.

He later served as Executive Director of The Blackbaud Giving Fund, a donor-advised fund platform he helped establish and scale. During his tenure, the organization granted a cumulative $3 billion to 300,000 charities.

Nash currently serves as a strategic advisor to Purposefy, an impact measurement platform.

Lenhoff is a Certified Financial Planner and co-founder of Wealthquest, a comprehensive financial planning and wealth management firm established in 2006.

As President, he led Wealthquest through 15 years of rapid growth while advancing an integrated approach that combines financial planning, investment management, tax and estate planning. He currently serves on Wealthquest’s Board of Directors.

Lenhoff is also the author of Living a Rich Life: The No-Regrets Guide to Building and Spending Wealth and serves as President of the Good Sense Movement, a nonprofit focused on faith-based financial stewardship education.

The appointments come during a period of significant growth for Charityvest.

In 2025, contributions increased 167% to $265.5 million, while grants grew 128% to $119.2 million.

Lifetime contributions to Charityvest now exceed $460 million.

The organization also added former Fidelity Charitable Chief Administrative Officer Lisa Dalberth to its board in December 2025.

Charityvest is a donor-advised fund sponsor focused on using modern technology to make charitable giving more accessible and efficient.

In October 2024, Foundation Source acquired Vennfi, the fintech company powering Charityvest. Charityvest now combines its donor-focused platform with Foundation Source’s technology and philanthropic services infrastructure.

Stephen Kump, Founder and President of Charityvest and President of DAFs at Foundation Source

“After more than two decades working with donors, I’ve seen how much the right tools and guidance can influence not only how people give, but also how much they’re able to accomplish through their giving. Charityvest is making it easier for donors to be more intentional and effective with their philanthropy. I’m excited to help the team build on that vision and reach even more donors.”

Matt Nash, Board Member at Charityvest

“Many of the individuals and families I work with are thinking about their legacy. The most meaningful part of that conversation is how they can use their wealth to intentionally support the people, experiences, and causes that matter most to them now and for generations to come. Charityvest gives donors and their advisors a simple, strategic way to do this. I’m excited to help the company bring that experience to more families.”
