Chartis, a healthcare advisory firm, announced it has acquired Leap AI, a company specializing in AI-driven healthcare solutions, in a move aimed at accelerating innovation and technology transformation across the healthcare sector.
The acquisition brings Leap AI’s capabilities in generative AI, workflow automation, and product development into Chartis’ broader advisory platform. Founded in 2023, Leap AI has focused on building advanced AI solutions to improve clinical outcomes, enhance patient care, and support research and development efforts.
Following the deal, Leap AI’s senior leadership team will join the Chartis Center for AI and Digital Transformation under a new brand, Chartis Leap AI Studio. The combined organization plans to develop and deploy tailored AI solutions designed to address healthcare organizations’ specific operational challenges, data environments, and patient experience needs.
Chartis emphasized that the integration of Leap AI will enable more customized and scalable AI implementations compared to off the shelf platforms, particularly as healthcare organizations increasingly adopt AI technologies across clinical and operational workflows.
The combined entity will also maintain a pipeline of new AI driven initiatives, focusing on innovation across healthcare delivery, operational efficiency, and patient engagement.
Chartis works with more than 1,900 organizations annually and employs over 1,450 professionals, serving providers, payers, technology companies, and investors across the healthcare ecosystem. The addition of Leap AI is expected to deepen its capabilities in AI development and digital transformation.
