Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Marks $1.35 Billion Anniversary Campaign Milestone

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has completed its Anniversary Campaign after raising a record $1.35 billion to support pediatric care, research, and education. The milestone represents the largest fundraising effort in the hospital’s 125-year history.

CHLA announced the campaign’s completion during its 2026 gala at The Event Deck at L.A. LIVE. The event brought together philanthropists, community leaders, patients, celebrities, and other supporters while recognizing Ellen K and Kourtney and Justin Turner with the hospital’s Courage to Care Award.

The Anniversary Campaign was supported by thousands of donors, corporate partners, foundations, families, and CHLA employees. Campaign co-chairs Nikki DeLoach and Jeffrey Worthe led the effort, while Jimmy Kimmel, Sugar Ray Leonard, Chuck Lorre, and Jamie Lee Curtis served as honorary campaign chairs.

CHLA said the $1.35 billion raised will help advance pediatric medicine, accelerate scientific research, expand education initiatives, and support access to specialized care for children. The hospital is the largest provider of hospital care for children in California and operates research and education programs alongside its clinical services.

The gala also recognized Ellen K for her longstanding support of CHLA. Her involvement began after her son received emergency care at the hospital. She has since helped raise more than $4 million through KOST 103.5’s annual Giving Tuesday broadcast and has served as a longtime co-host of CHLA’s Walk & Play L.A.

Kourtney and Justin Turner were honored for more than a decade of volunteerism, fundraising, advocacy, and philanthropic support. Their work through the Justin Turner Foundation has included programs supporting children with serious illnesses and their families.

The evening also highlighted the Jackie and Gene Autry Orthopedic Center, which provides pediatric orthopedic care and includes programs focused on spine and neuromuscular disorders, hip preservation, sports medicine, and hand and upper-extremity care. The celebration concluded with a performance by Michael Bublé.
