Chorus Aviation announced its plan to acquire Elisen & Associates, a Montreal-based leader in aerospace engineering and certification services.
Established in 1997 by Stephane Durand and Taif Rahman, Elisen has earned a strong reputation for handling complex engineering projects across commercial, business, rotary aircraft modifications, defense initiatives, and sustainable aviation.
Their work includes support and development for Airbus A220, Bell helicopters, and aircraft from Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Lear on special missions. Durand and Rahman will remain in charge after the acquisition.
The deal is expected to close before the end of the year, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. It will be paid with available cash and is unlikely to have a significant impact on Chorus’s revenue, earnings, or balance sheet.
