Chris King And Doug Rosenstein Promoted To Principal At Gridiron

  • Gridiron Capital recently announced it promoted Chris King and Doug Rosenstein to Principal.

Gridiron Capital recently announced that it promoted Christopher King and Doug Rosenstein to Principal. King and Rosenstein both joined Gridiron Capital in 2015 as senior associates and were promoted to vice president in 2016 and Principal in 2019.

“Both Chris and Doug have been valuable team members at Gridiron Capital and are being recognized for their accomplishments at the firm. Their contributions are an important part of Gridiron’s success, enabling Gridiron to continue to build and deliver value for all of our partners,” said Gridiron co-founder and managing director Tom Burger.

King is a director on the boards of several of Gridiron Capital’s portfolio companies including Leaf Home Solutions, Rough Country, and Royal Paper. And King has been active with additional Gridiron Capital portfolio companies including Dent Wizard.

“We love having Chris and Doug on our team and we are excited to recognize their many contributions to Gridiron. They have taken on increasing levels of responsibility within the organization and have earned the respect of our management team partners through their dedication and teamwork. We have confidence that they will continue to excel in their new roles,” added managing partner Kevin Jackson.

And Rosenstein is a director on the boards of Colibri Group and Travel Nurse Across America and has been active with additional Gridiron Capital portfolio companies including Legility and Tokyo Joe’s.

Before joining Gridiron, King was an associate in private equity where he was responsible for transaction execution and portfolio company management. And previously, King worked as an analyst at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital in the Consumer Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

And Rosenstein was previously an associate in private equity where he was responsible for transaction execution and portfolio company management. Before that, Rosenstein worked as an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Consumer Group.
