Christopher Kercher announced the launch of Kercher Law PLLC, a litigation practice he describes as built from the ground up for the AI era, following 17 years at Quinn Emanuel, where he founded the firm’s AI & Data Analytics litigation group.
Kercher said the firm is designed around the idea that while AI is transforming the production layer of legal work at remarkable speed, the work clients care most about remains fundamentally human, driven by judgment, strategy, advocacy, and counsel. He said the practice is structured so that lawyers spend their time counseling, strategizing, and advocating, while AI is used to clear away friction underneath that work, protecting attorney attention as the resource he considers most valuable and hardest to manufacture. Kercher noted that while many established firms are adding AI to existing models, few are building both the practice and the technology together from the outset specifically for litigation.
