Long Arc Capital has appointed Vikram Chugh as Chief Executive Officer of CircleBlack, a wealth management technology platform serving financial advisors, registered investment advisors, and wealth management firms.
Chugh is transitioning from his role as Chief Operating Officer of Robertson Stephens, another Long Arc Capital portfolio company. During his tenure there, he helped support the firm’s growth strategy, technology platform, advisor integration capabilities, marketing systems, digital infrastructure, and operating workflows.
Long Arc said the appointment reflects its strategy of developing leadership talent across its portfolio and moving executives into roles where their expertise can have a broader strategic impact.
At CircleBlack, Chugh will focus on expanding the company’s wealth management technology platform, increasing advisor adoption, and accelerating product innovation.
CircleBlack provides technology that helps advisory firms connect portfolio management, financial planning, reporting, client engagement, data aggregation, and operational workflows within a unified platform. The company also integrates financial applications and data from multiple custodians to give advisors a consolidated view of client portfolios and business operations.
Under Chugh’s leadership, CircleBlack plans to further position its platform as an operating system for advisory firms, with an emphasis on reducing technology fragmentation and creating more integrated experiences for advisors and clients.
Lincoln Ross, who has served as CircleBlack’s CEO since 2022, will remain with the company as a strategic advisor. Long Arc credited Ross with strengthening CircleBlack’s platform and positioning the business for its next stage of growth.
Chugh spent eight and a half years at Robertson Stephens and played a significant role in building the infrastructure needed to support the wealth management firm’s expansion.
