Circus Completes Acquisition Of K-Robotics To Advance Autonomous Food Production Systems

Circus SE, a Munich-based global AI and robotics company developing autonomous sustainment systems for food supply in civilian and defense sectors, has completed the acquisition of Kitchen Robotics, a U.S.-Israeli company with patented technologies in autonomous sustainment robotics. The all-cash transaction was completed in the low six-figure range and gives Circus full ownership of all patents, software IP, robotic assets, and know-how, excluding financial liabilities and employee transfers.

The acquisition significantly expands Circus’s proprietary IP portfolio, which now includes more than 30 international robotics patents, and accelerates the company’s U.S. market entry to the second half of 2026, pulled forward from the previously planned 2027 timeline. K-Robotics’ U.S.-certified NSF components and systems provide existing regulatory clearance and technology readiness, enabling immediate deployment across military and commercial customers.

Circus trades on the XETRA exchange under the ticker CA1.

KEY QUOTES:

“We didn’t just buy patents, we locked down the U.S. market. This acquisition gives us protected IP, regulatory clearance, and immediate ability to deploy. We are entering the U.S. from a position of strength, and significantly earlier than planned, pulling our market entry forward as we see a rapidly growing demand across military and commercial sectors in the region.”
