Cisco appointed Girish Rishi to its Board of Directors. Rishi brings approximately three decades of technology leadership experience spanning data and artificial intelligence, product development, supply chain, hardware, software, systems, and mergers and acquisitions. He currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Cognite.
Cognite develops industrial AI technology designed to help energy and industrial companies turn operational data into actionable insights.
Rishi also serves as a Senior Advisor to Blackstone.
Before joining Cognite, he served as CEO of Blue Yonder, a provider of supply chain management software and consulting services.
Earlier in his career, Rishi held executive leadership positions at Tyco International, Zebra Technologies, Motorola Solutions, and Symbol Technologies.
His experience includes serving both government and commercial customers.
Rishi also serves on the Board of Directors of Insight Enterprises, where he has been a director since 2017.
He previously served on the board of Digi International.
Cisco said Rishi’s experience across AI, data, infrastructure, product development, supply chain, and M&A will add additional expertise to its board.
