Citco has launched the Citco Credit Portal, a unified platform giving loan agency and servicing clients centralized access to private credit data, documents and operational workflows. The portal is initially available to Citco’s Loan Agency and Servicing customers.
It is intended to improve transparency and reduce the operational complexity created by increasingly sophisticated loan structures and larger groups of lenders.
Through a single interface, users can review loans, borrowers, participating lenders and complete credit portfolios.
The portal provides access to transaction details, payment schedules, documents and servicing information while allowing Citco and its clients to work within the same digital environment.
Private credit transactions can involve multiple lenders, negotiated covenants, changing interest rates, amendments, payments and reporting requirements.
When this information is distributed across separate systems, spreadsheets, emails and teams, lenders may have difficulty developing a timely view of their exposures.
Citco designed the portal to create a single source of loan information and reduce manual processes.
The company used AI and agentic technologies during development and is piloting features such as automated loan abstraction and more efficient onboarding of transactions into its core servicing platform.
Loan abstraction involves extracting important provisions from credit agreements, including payment terms, interest rates, maturity dates, collateral and borrower obligations.
Citco uses what it calls an AI Plus Human model, under which experienced employees review and validate AI-generated information before it is incorporated into client workflows.
Future versions are expected to include deeper portfolio monitoring and support for nonperforming loans, restructurings and recoveries.
Citco also plans to increase integration between the portal and clients’ internal technology and data environments.
