The deal strengthens CITCO Water’s ability to deliver end-to-end water and wastewater solutions, including equipment, treatment technologies, and process systems. With the additions, the company expands its presence into key Southeastern markets such as Alabama, Georgia, and Florida.
Founded in 1931 and headquartered in Huntington, West Virginia, CITCO Water has grown into a regional provider serving municipalities, utilities, engineers, contractors, and industrial customers. The company offers a broad portfolio spanning chemical treatment, smart metering, integrated technologies, hardware, and repair services.
Pump & Process Equipment, Inc., based in Birmingham, Alabama, is known for supplying pumping systems and treatment equipment while maintaining strong relationships with consulting engineers and municipal customers. Legacy Environmental, headquartered in Leeds, Alabama, specializes in packaged wastewater treatment systems and advanced process technologies, including filtration systems, clarifiers, and lift stations.
The acquisitions enhance CITCO Water’s technical expertise and deepen its relationships with manufacturers, positioning the company to better support customers across the full water lifecycle, from sourcing and delivery to treatment and return.
