Citius Oncology reported accelerating institutional demand for LYMPHIR during its fiscal third quarter, with institutional vial orders increasing 31% sequentially to 926 from 708 and 44 institutions having prescribed and ordered the cutaneous T-cell lymphoma treatment since its commercial launch. Demand continued accelerating after quarter-end, with July producing a record 383 institutional vial orders.
The July total was 25% above the average monthly institutional order volume during the preceding quarter, according to Citius Oncology, providing an early indication that the Q2 increase was continuing into the company’s fiscal fourth quarter.
Institutional vial orders are distinct from the company’s reported revenue. The metric reflects LYMPHIR ordered by prescribing institutions from wholesalers, while Citius Oncology recognizes revenue when wholesalers place and fulfill orders directly with the company. Management said growing institutional demand began translating into higher wholesaler orders and related revenue during July.
The number of new institutions ordering LYMPHIR increased 80% sequentially during the quarter. The 44 institutions that have ordered the drug include academic oncology centers, National Comprehensive Cancer Network institutions and community infusion centers.
Citius Oncology is adding commercial infrastructure to support that adoption. Its nationwide commercial and medical affairs organization expanded to 29 people in August, including 21 additional field-based professionals and eight medical science liaisons. The company is targeting formulary inclusion at 100 priority institutions by year-end.
Market access has also progressed alongside the institutional expansion. Citius Oncology reported near-universal payer coverage and said it has experienced no reimbursement denials or prior-authorization barriers to date.
LYMPHIR generated $1.5 million of revenue during the June quarter and $7.1 million during the first nine months of fiscal 2026. Quarterly gross profit was approximately $1 million, while nine-month gross profit reached $5.5 million. Cash and equivalents totaled $16.6 million at June 30 following approximately $9.7 million of warrant proceeds and the funding of the first $10 million tranche of an up to $25 million senior secured term-loan facility.
The company reported a quarterly net loss of $8.9 million compared with $5.4 million a year earlier. The nine-month loss reached $41.1 million, including a $19.7 million one-time contract manufacturing organization cancellation charge recognized in the prior quarter.
Beyond the approved CTCL indication, Citius Oncology is evaluating LYMPHIR in combination settings. Investigator-initiated Phase 1 studies have evaluated the drug with pembrolizumab in recurrent or refractory gynecologic cancers and prior to CAR-T therapy in high-risk relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
KEY QUOTES:
“Institutional demand (LYMPHIR vials ordered by prescribing centers from wholesalers) is accelerating. Institutional vial orders grew 31% sequentially, from 708 in the quarter ended March 31, 2026 to 926 in the quarter ended June 30, 2026. In July, institutions ordered 383 vials from wholesalers, the largest order month to date, reflecting a 25% increase over the prior quarter’s monthly average order. Currently, 44 institutions have prescribed and ordered LYMPHIR.”
“Overall, the launch is moving in the right direction: more institutions are ordering LYMPHIR, vial demand is increasing, and our commercial footprint is expanding. We believe the underlying increasing demand trends provide a strong basis for the remainder of fiscal 2026.”
