Civic Financial Selects Altruist As Exclusive Custodian And Wealth Management Platform

Altruist announced that Boston-based Civic Financial will transition its entire custodial and wealth management technology stack to the firm, consolidating its custody and technology on Altruist’s platform. Civic Financial had amassed approximately $1 billion in client assets before making the move, sustaining more than 40 percent annual organic growth.

Civic Financial is a 100 percent partner-owned, multigenerational financial planning and wealth advisory firm serving high-net-worth individuals and families through a planning-led model and a collaborative team structure. The firm conducted extensive due diligence across all major custodians and platforms before selecting Altruist, citing its technology, alignment with Altruist’s leadership team and culture, and client-centric approach. As part of the transition, Civic Financial also plans to use Altruist’s AI engine, Hazel, across its advisory workflows, including tax planning and workflow automation, and will serve as a design partner helping shape new Hazel capabilities.
