CleanSpace Modular, a leading national design-build firm specializing in life sciences, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and controlled environment projects, has announced the acquisition of TECHspace, a certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and Special Project Delivery (SPD) firm. As part of the deal, TECHspace CEO Jennifer Biro has been named Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of CleanSpace, marking her return to the organization where her career first began.

In her new position, Biro will oversee CleanSpace’s strategic business initiatives, focusing on expanding market presence, strengthening client relationships, and driving sustained revenue growth. With over two decades of industry experience—including her early work at Turner Construction—Biro has built a reputation for leading large-scale, compliance-driven projects in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and advanced technology. Her deep technical background and commitment to client success make her a key figure in CleanSpace’s next chapter of national and international expansion.

The acquisition of TECHspace represents a significant milestone for CleanSpace as it continues to strengthen its position as a market leader in design-build solutions. TECHspace will operate as a distinct division within CleanSpace, serving as the company’s SPD and WBE arm. This structure enhances CleanSpace’s ability to deliver agile, cost-effective solutions across the United States and Canada while reinforcing its commitment to supplier diversity and inclusion.

According to CleanSpace’s leadership, integrating TECHspace expands the firm’s ability to deliver high-performance projects for clients in regulated and technical industries. The acquisition also aligns with the company’s goal of scaling operations globally, leveraging Biro’s leadership and TECHspace’s customer-centric service model to support broader client needs.

Jennifer Biro’s appointment follows a series of honors recognizing her impact and leadership within the construction and life sciences sectors. She was recently named a Titan 100 Philadelphia Honoree, an award celebrating the region’s top CEOs and C-level executives, and has been recognized as a Main Line Power Woman Honoree by Main Line Today Magazine. These accolades underscore her influence in advancing women’s leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the built environment.

CleanSpace continues to deliver fully integrated services spanning design, engineering, construction, and compliance for complex projects in life sciences and technology. With TECHspace now part of its portfolio, the company strengthens its ability to provide comprehensive, vertically integrated solutions for clients navigating highly technical and regulated markets.
