Clear Secure expanded its biometric identity infrastructure to 50 airports through its eGate rollout during the second quarter of 2026 as total CLEAR membership increased 30% year-over-year to 43.5 million.
Active CLEAR+ membership increased 15.2% to approximately 8.3 million as of June 30. CLEAR+ was available at 62 airports, including Q2 launches at Northwest Arkansas National Airport and Indianapolis International Airport, while CLEAR operated 280 retail locations providing TSA PreCheck enrollment.
The company has now launched eGates at 50 airports and remains on track for a network-wide rollout during 2026. CLEAR Concierge, its premium personalized airport service, has expanded to 39 airports.
CLEAR’s expanding identity network was accompanied by accelerating financial performance. Q2 revenue increased 26.6% to $277.8 million, while Total Bookings jumped 32.8% to $295.9 million.
Operating income reached $83 million, representing a 29.9% operating margin. Adjusted EBITDA increased to $101.1 million, with margin expanding 900 basis points year-over-year to 36.4%, exceeding CLEAR’s long-term Adjusted EBITDA margin target of 35%.
Free cash flow reached $189 million during Q2 compared with $117.9 million a year earlier. For the first six months, operating cash flow increased to $391.5 million from $221.3 million.
Following the quarter, CLEAR raised its full-year free cash flow guidance to at least $480 million from at least $465 million, representing growth of at least 39.9%. Third-quarter revenue is expected to range from $284 million to $287 million, while bookings are expected between $311 million and $316 million.
