ClearOps: €8.6 Million Series A Raised To Build AI Operating System For OEM After Sales

ClearOps, an AI-powered after sales platform for industrial OEMs, announced the closing of an €8.6 million Series A funding round led by Hitachi Ventures, with participation from Schoeller Group and Barkawi Group.

The funding represents ClearOps’ first institutional capital raise and will support the company’s efforts to become the AI operating system for global OEM after sales operations.

ClearOps focuses on solving operational inefficiencies in industrial manufacturing after sales networks. The company said downtime across industries such as construction, agriculture, and logistics can create significant financial and operational disruptions when manufacturers, dealers, service partners, and machines are not properly connected.

The company’s platform connects manufacturers, dealers, service providers, and machines through a unified operating system without replacing existing infrastructure. By aggregating and orchestrating service supply chain data, ClearOps enables OEMs and dealers to predict demand, automate workflows, and improve service execution.

Today, ClearOps supports thousands of connected dealers and millions of machines globally. Its customers include AGCO, Terex, Jungheinrich, and Lippert. The company said its platform has helped improve parts availability by up to 40%, increase parts sales by 5% to 15%, and reduce repair times by as much as two days.

The company plans to use the new funding to accelerate global expansion, expand go-to-market operations, strengthen ecosystem partnerships, and continue developing AI capabilities for industrial after sales networks.

ClearOps said it will continue investing in AI systems that help OEMs and dealers automate and orchestrate parts and service operations across increasingly connected industrial service networks.

The company is headquartered in Munich and also operates in Lisbon, Atlanta, and San José. ClearOps currently employs approximately 60 people globally.

KEY QUOTES:

“Industrial service networks are under increasing pressure. Machines are becoming more connected, customer expectations around uptime continue to rise, and global disruptions have exposed the limits of today’s fragmented after-sales systems.

We believe the future belongs to manufacturers and dealer networks that can predict, coordinate, and execute in real time.

Our vision is bold: keep the world’s machines moving by building the AI operating system for after sales, ensuring the right parts and services are available before downtime happens.”

William Barkawi, Founder & CEO, ClearOps

“We believe industrial after sales is entering a fundamental transformation. As machines become increasingly connected and customer expectations around uptime continue to rise, traditional approaches to service operations will no longer be sufficient. ClearOps is building the operational intelligence layer needed for this next era, combining AI, data, and execution into one platform. We see a large market opportunity and believe the team is exceptionally well positioned to define this category.”

Pete Bastien, Partner, Hitachi Ventures

“Global service and supply chain networks are becoming increasingly complex, yet many critical processes are still managed through fragmented systems and manual workflows. We believe the future belongs to intelligent, connected platforms capable of coordinating complex networks in real time. ClearOps combines deep operational expertise with a scalable technology platform, laying the foundation for the next generation of industrial service networks.”

Christoph Schoeller, CEO, Schoeller Group

“ClearOps was built around a belief we have held for years: after sales remains one of the largest untapped opportunities in industrial businesses. It is where profitability, customer loyalty, and operational excellence come together, yet much of the industry still runs on fragmented systems and manual processes.

We have supported ClearOps from day one because we saw both the scale of the problem and the opportunity to build a fundamentally new operating model for after sales. Today, with AI and connected ecosystems becoming reality, we believe the company is uniquely positioned to define the future of how manufacturers and dealer networks operate globally.”
