Clearstead: Shaun McCracken Named Executive Managing Director Of Mergers And Acquisitions

Clearstead Advisors, a Cleveland-based financial advisory firm overseeing approximately $62 billion for private clients and institutions, has appointed Shaun McCracken as Executive Managing Director, Mergers and Acquisitions, effective immediately. McCracken will report directly to Bradley Knapp, CEO and President, and will oversee Clearstead’s M&A strategy and execution while working closely with leadership to identify and pursue growth opportunities aligned with the firm’s long-term vision.

McCracken joins from Acrisure, where he served most recently as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, having progressed through increasingly senior positions and contributed to the firm’s rapid growth through acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Prior to Acrisure, he served as a Market Data Management consultant to Citadel. Throughout his career, McCracken has developed a reputation for combining rigorous financial analysis with a relationship-driven approach to navigating complex transactions and unlocking long-term value, with experience spanning all aspects of the M&A lifecycle. He also brings experience leading and building high-performing teams in fast-growing organizations. McCracken holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University.
