Click Bond, a Carson City, Nevada-based provider of adhesive-bonded fastening and assembly solutions, has acquired Brighton Science, a Cincinnati-based company known for surface intelligence and adhesion-measurement technology. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Click Bond said the deal is intended to expand its ability to deliver more measurable confidence in bonding performance by pairing fastening systems with technology that evaluates surface conditions and predicts adhesion outcomes. Brighton Science will continue operating independently under the name “Brighton Science, a Click Bond company.”
The companies said the combination will link Brighton’s measurement tools—anchored by its Surface Analyst technology—with Click Bond’s engineering, manufacturing, and aerospace assembly footprint. Over time, Brighton’s research insights are expected to inform Click Bond’s R&D, product design, data science initiatives, and customer solution strategies aimed at improving the reliability and scalability of bonded assemblies.
Click Bond is headquartered in Carson City and also operates a manufacturing facility in Watertown, Connecticut. Brighton Science positions itself as a global leader in surface intelligence focused on helping manufacturers address adhesion challenges through real-time, data-driven process insight.
Support: Click Bond said The Westbury Group served as buyer’s advisors and Robinson & Cole served as buyer’s transaction counsel.
