ClickUp has acquired Qatalog, an AI-based enterprise work platform, in a move that significantly accelerates ClickUp’s position in the converged AI productivity software market. The acquisition strengthens ClickUp’s strategy to unify work, data, and automation within a single platform, delivering what the company describes as a true Converged AI Workspace.

Based in San Diego, ClickUp announced that Qatalog’s AI search technology and enterprise-ready capabilities will be integrated into its platform, further expanding the company’s reach and deepening its AI functionality. Qatalog’s technology, trusted by enterprise users at companies including Nvidia, Twitter, and Airbnb, was built to address the fragmentation caused by disconnected software tools and scattered data. According to ClickUp, unifying these systems is crucial for providing AI with the complete context it needs to deliver functional automation and insights.

Qatalog’s no-index, permission-aware AI search engine will be embedded into ClickUp, providing instant access to information across more than 100 connected enterprise applications. The integration will power AI agents with full business context, enable automated workflows informed by every conversation and document, and deliver real-time insights without requiring users to leave ClickUp.

ClickUp described the acquisition as a significant advancement in its broader AI strategy, noting that the combined technologies will enable organizations to reimagine how work flows across teams and software. The company highlighted that its rapid growth to 20 million users and a business scale of $300 million in annual recurring revenue reflects the increasing market demand for converged platforms that can manage all work in one place.

With venture backing from firms known for identifying category-defining technologies, Qatalog adds proven AI infrastructure to ClickUp’s portfolio, reinforcing the company’s position as a leader in the convergence of AI and enterprise software. ClickUp said the acquisition helps fulfill its mission to provide complete context, unified workflows, and a collaborative environment for both humans and AI agents.
