Clifford Chance: Bruce Embley Named As Private Equity Partner

Global law firm Clifford Chance announced the appointment of leading Private Equity Partner Bruce Embley, based in London, as part of the firm’s ambitious global Private Capital growth strategy. And Embley brings extensive experience advising on high-profile and complex private capital transactions for market leading clients.

Embley has worked with various clients, from leading private equity houses to international corporates, and has a wealth of knowledge in cross-border private and public transactions. Embley joins the Clifford Chance Private Equity team from Skadden, having previously been Co-Head of Global M&A at Freshfields.

This appointment is the latest in a series of high-profile global Private Capital lateral hires at Clifford Chance. The firm has been joined by David Schultz and Vince Ferrito in New York, Jamie McLaren in Singapore, Aimee Sharman and Matt Lilley in London, and Arnaud Fromion and Frédéric Guilloux in Paris over the past few months.
