Clifford Chance has announced the hire of Alexandra Diehl and her 14-member team from White & Case, further strengthening the firm’s class actions and disputes capabilities in Europe. The new team will join Clifford Chance’s Frankfurt office, reinforcing the firm’s growing global litigation and dispute resolution practice.
This latest move follows a series of high-profile partner additions across Clifford Chance’s disputes group in Australia, Spain, Italy, and the United States, reflecting the firm’s strategy to expand its class actions expertise across major international markets.
Alexandra Diehl, who previously practiced at Clifford Chance, is widely recognized for her leadership in collective redress and mass tort litigation. She also brings deep experience in arbitration and investment disputes, having advised numerous sovereign states on complex international matters.
Joining Diehl are senior team members Priscilla Tatschner, Lisa Becker, and Lucas Marlow, who will strengthen the firm’s capabilities across key regulated sectors including healthcare, life sciences, automotive, and technology. The addition of this experienced team enhances Clifford Chance’s ability to deliver comprehensive dispute resolution services to clients navigating cross-border litigation and regulatory challenges.
The new appointments position Clifford Chance to serve clients in one of Europe’s fastest-evolving litigation environments. Germany has emerged as a leading jurisdiction for collective redress actions, with increasing regulatory scrutiny and litigation exposure for multinational companies.
