Clifford Chance: Mark Currell Named As Managing Partner In Australia

Global law firm Clifford Chance announced that Mark Currell has been named the new Managing Partner of its Perth and Sydney offices, effective May 1, 2025.

Currell succeeds Richard Gordon, whose second term concludes in April 2025. Gordon will continue to support the firm in regional strategic initiatives.

Currell – who leads the firm’s Corporate Practice in Australia – joined Clifford Chance as a partner in 2018 and has since played a pivotal role in establishing and building both the firm’s M&A team and our cross-practice, multijurisdictional specialist private capital team.
