Cloudleaf — an emerging leader in digital supply chain solutions — announced that it raised $26 million in Series B funding to drive the market expansion of its Supply Chain Digital Visibility Platform. This will bring visibility, efficiency, and responsiveness to supply chains in any industry.

Intel Capital and WRVI Capital led the round. And BluePointe Ventures, Bold Capital Partners, Mahindra Partners, and Tandem Capital also participated. Including this round, Cloudleaf raised a total of $39 million.

With this round of funding, Cloudleaf will utilize the capital to power the rapid expansion of its addressable markets, geographic footprint, and enterprise customer base. Cloudleaf is serving increasing numbers of global leaders in pharmaceutical & life sciences, food & beverage, advanced manufacturing, and other industries.

“We are extremely gratified that some of the industry’s most esteemed investors are helping Cloudleaf convert our technology leadership into market leadership,” said Cloudleaf CEO Mahesh Veerina. “Cloudleaf’s goal is to establish nothing less than a new industry standard for actionable visibility in a broad spectrum of enterprise supply chains.”

Cloudleaf’s Digital Visibility Platform uses a combination of IoT, AI/ML, and advanced analytics that delivers comprehensive, real-time, and end-to-end insights into supply chain operations from suppliers through production and distribution to customers.

Cloudleaf technology processes billions of events per seconds. And it enhances Operations and Integrated Business Planning systems with real-time delivery of diagnostic and predictive insights. These insights include location, environmental conditions (such as temperature, humidity, and shock), utilization and anomaly detection.

“Cloudleaf’s Digital Visibility Platform targets an extreme pain point for thousands of enterprises challenged by the need to manage significant asset and product flows. We are excited to partner with such a high-impact innovator of enterprise digitization,” added WRVI Capital managing partner Sriram Viswanathan. “Katerra, one of WRVI Capital’s portfolio investments and a highly disruptive technology company for the construction market segment, has selected Cloudleaf to provide end-to-end visibility across its supply chain.”

The improvements enabled by the platform can be gauged using the Cloudleaf Visibility Index. Cloudleaf’s customers have achieved improvements in supply chain visibility of as much as 5 times, a first-year return-on-investment of as much as 70x, and annualized value in the tens of millions of dollars.

“Cloudleaf means actionable visibility,” explained Intel VP and Intel Capital senior managing director Dave Flanagan. “The world’s supply chains are undergoing a multi-trillion-dollar shift to digital, and Cloudleaf is in the vanguard. We’re pleased to welcome them to Intel Capital’s portfolio of leaders in cloud, edge intelligence and vision technologies.”
