CloudNC has raised $20 million in new funding led by Nimble Ventures to expand adoption of its AI-powered precision machining software and launch additional products targeting manufacturing bottlenecks.
Calculus Venture Capital, Entrepreneur First and Lockheed Martin’s venture arm LM Ventures also participated in the financing.
CloudNC’s flagship product, CAM Assist, uses AI to automate portions of computer-aided manufacturing programming for CNC machines.
The software can reduce the time required to develop machining strategies and toolpaths, helping manufacturers move components from design into production more quickly while allowing skilled workers to increase their output.
CAM Assist is now used by more than 1,000 machine shops globally, including hundreds in the U.S. Named customers include Lockheed Martin and Major Tool and Machine.
CloudNC will use the funding to expand its commercial organization, customer support and partner activity while entering additional markets.
Capital will also support new products, including Quote Agent, which is expected to become available later in 2026.
Quote Agent applies AI to the quoting and estimating process, helping machine shops assess potential jobs, calculate pricing and respond to customers.
The company sees quoting as an important bottleneck because slow estimates can cause manufacturers to lose business while inaccurate estimates can erode margins after production begins.
CloudNC is also working with Knox Systems toward FedRAMP certification for CAM Assist, potentially expanding its availability to U.S. government agencies and defense contractors handling sensitive manufacturing workloads.
