Clouted: $7 Million Raised To Rethink Marketing For Artists, Brands, And Creators

Clouted has raised $7 million to build a platform that helps artists, brands, and creators automate and scale their marketing and content distribution. The announcement was shared by CEO and co-founder Justin Gorriceta-Banusing, who explained that the company aims to reduce the burden creators face in managing both content production and audience growth.

Gorriceta-Banusing, who is also a DJ and festival producer, said many artists today are forced to balance creative work with the demands of social media marketing. He noted that creators often have to think about promotion immediately after performances, rather than focusing on the experience itself.

The company created Clouted to make content distribution more autonomous and intelligent, enabling creators to spend less time worrying about marketing campaigns and more time focusing on their craft. According to Gorriceta-Banusing, the platform manages distribution while also building a growing context layer from campaign data over time.

The funding round was led by Slow Ventures, with participation from AppWorks, Andreessen Horowitz through its Speedrun program, Peak XV Partners, Antler, Hustle Fund, Weekend Fund, Z Venture Capital, Gold House, Alumni Ventures, Gondor Capital, NonPublic, Iterative, and Ventures Together.

The company is also building a network of angel investors with expertise in distribution and growth, including Gokul Rajaram, Ben Parr, Matt Schlicht, Henry Shi, Andrew Yeung, Andrew Tan, Brandon Hoffman, Bernard Leong, Will Kim, Will Baumann, and Mike G.
