Coast Counties Truck & Equipment Company, operating as Coast Counties Peterbilt, has acquired Peterbilt Truck Parts & Equipment, expanding its Peterbilt dealership business into Northern Nevada.
The transaction represents Coast Counties Peterbilt’s first expansion beyond California and establishes a presence in the Reno market.
The acquired Reno operation will continue providing truck sales, parts, service and PacLease offerings while gaining access to Coast Counties Peterbilt’s broader resources and operating support.
Coast Counties said the transaction brings together two established Peterbilt organizations with a shared focus on commercial trucking customers and employees.
The acquired business was built by John Phillips and his team in Northern Nevada.
Coast Counties plans to retain and support the existing operation while using the acquisition as a foundation for serving a broader Western market.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
