Code Ninjas has appointed Tyler Semerdjian as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing a seasoned growth leader with more than 15 years of experience across direct-to-consumer, marketplace, sports, and private equity-backed businesses.
Semerdjian joins the company as it looks to scale its global marketing engine and strengthen performance across its network of more than 350 centers. His mandate includes modernizing marketing infrastructure, improving enrollment, and reinforcing the brand’s positioning in STEM and AI education.
Most recently, Semerdjian served as CMO of a private equity-backed family entertainment platform generating over $100 million in annual revenue, where he helped deliver a 274% increase in EBITDA. In that role, he also oversaw marketing strategy across four additional portfolio companies.
At Code Ninjas, Semerdjian will focus on building a more connected marketing ecosystem designed to improve lead generation, conversion, and retention. The company aims to better align marketing systems with enrollment outcomes while enhancing its offerings across coding, robotics, and broader STEM programming.
Founded in 2016, Code Ninjas has grown into the largest kids coding franchise globally, offering gamified learning experiences for children ages 5 to 14. The company continues to benefit from rising demand for future-focused education, particularly hands-on programs that develop real-world technical skills.
As part of its next phase of growth, Code Ninjas is prioritizing expansion in New England and the Southern United States, targeting both new and experienced franchise operators for multi-unit development.
