CodeWords announced a $9 million seed financing round led by Visionaries, with participation from firstminute capital, Sequel, Illusian, and a group of angel investors including executives and founders from companies such as ElevenLabs, Personio, Miro, Supercell, HubSpot, and others.

The company is building an AI-native automation platform designed to allow users to create production-ready software automations through conversational interactions rather than coding or visual workflow builders.

CodeWords said its platform enables users to automate workflows simply by chatting, eliminating the need for drag-and-drop interfaces, node configuration, or manual coding.

According to the company, the platform currently processes more than 500,000 workflows per month across production business environments.

The company said its broader vision is focused on developing AI agents capable of proactively acting within workflows rather than waiting for prompts or manual user actions.

CodeWords plans to use the new financing to expand its enterprise product offering and grow its go-to-market organization to accelerate business adoption.

The company was founded by Aymeric Zhuo and Osman Ramadan.
