CogniCor Adds Beacon Pointe Chairman And Co-Founder Shannon Eusey To Advisory Board

CogniCor has appointed Shannon Eusey, Chairman and Co-Founder of Beacon Pointe Advisors, to its Advisory Board as the AI wealth management technology company prepares for its next phase of strategic growth.

Eusey will advise CogniCor on strategic planning and growth initiatives, bringing experience from building Beacon Pointe into one of the largest registered investment advisers in the U.S.

Beacon Pointe has more than $62 billion in total assets under advisement and serves private clients, foundations and retirement plans.

CogniCor is developing an intelligence and orchestration platform for RIAs and other wealth management enterprises. Its technology is designed to unify fragmented data across wealth management systems, generate insights and coordinate actions across advisor workflows.

The company’s Advisor Copilot platform captures client conversations, aggregates data from different systems and helps orchestrate next-best actions.

CogniCor said the platform is designed to increase advisor capacity without sacrificing personalization, trust or consistency.

Eusey has spent approximately 30 years in wealth management. Before co-founding Beacon Pointe, she was Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Roxbury Capital Management.

She has also served on boards and industry councils including Banc of California, the Charles Schwab Advisor Council, the TD Ameritrade Advisory Council, the CNBC Financial Advisor Council and Scratchworks, a fintech accelerator focused on digital transformation in financial services.

Eusey is also a founding member of the Beacon Pointe Women’s Advisory Institute and co-author of Your Dollars, Our Sense: A Fun and Simple Guide to Money Matters.

CogniCor sees increasing demand for AI-enabled advisor productivity as the wealth management industry faces a shortage of financial advisors, a wave of expected retirements among experienced professionals and growing demand for personalized financial advice.

The company said as many as 40% of experienced financial advisors could retire over the next decade, increasing pressure on firms to expand the number of households each advisor can effectively serve.

CogniCor believes AI can address that capacity constraint by helping advisors manage more clients while preserving the human relationships and personalization that remain central to wealth management.

The company is positioning its platform as an infrastructure layer rather than another standalone advisor tool, connecting existing technologies and underlying data into a unified system for generating intelligence and initiating workflows.

CogniCor is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, and is venture-backed.
