Cognify Health Raises Seed Funding To Build Healthcare Platform For Youth Sports

Cognify Health announced a seed funding round led by Game Changers Ventures. The company is building a healthcare platform for youth athletics, starting with concussion care.

Cognify Health’s mission is to give young athletes access to healthcare support closer to what professional athletes receive, regardless of geography or family income. The company is addressing a gap in youth sports healthcare where families often have limited options after an injury, including emergency rooms, urgent care centers, or long waits to see specialists.

The company is initially focused on concussions. Cognify connects families with a concussion specialist through telehealth within 24 hours and provides a full return-to-learn and return-to-play plan.

The goal is to help young athletes safely return to the classroom and the field with guidance from specialists. Cognify sees concussion care as the entry point for a broader platform designed to deliver integrated healthcare for youth athletics nationwide.

The company is being built with doctors connected to organizations and programs including the Lakers, Chargers, USA Basketball, and UCLA BrainSPORT. Cognify also thanked early families and coaches who have trusted the platform.

The seed round will help Cognify continue building its youth sports healthcare infrastructure and expand access to specialist care for athletes and families.

KEY QUOTES:

“We believe that every young athlete deserves the kind of health care a pro gets, no matter where they live or what their family can afford. Right now, that’s not the reality. A kid takes a hit and the options are an ER, an urgent care, or a weeks-long wait to see a specialist. The system wasn’t built for them. At Cognify, we’re building the default healthcare layer for youth sports, starting with concussions. We connect families to a concussion specialist via telehealth within 24 hours – with a full return-to-learn and return-to-play plan to get kids safely back to the classroom and back on the field. Concussion care is the entry point. The vision is fully integrated healthcare for youth athletics, nationwide.”
