Cognizant, a global technology services and consulting company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire DyFlex Solutions, an Australia-based SAP consulting and enterprise transformation firm. The proposed acquisition will strengthen Cognizant’s artificial intelligence, enterprise technology, and SAP services capabilities across Australia and New Zealand while expanding its expertise in several major industry sectors.
DyFlex Solutions is an SAP Platinum Partner specializing in advisory, consulting, implementation, and managed services across the SAP technology ecosystem. The company serves clients in mining and resources, energy and utilities, manufacturing, logistics, the public sector, and the mid-market.
Founded in 2011, DyFlex has grown to more than 300 employees and operates from multiple locations across Australia and New Zealand, with additional delivery capabilities in the Philippines. The company has established a strong position in SAP transformation services, particularly in SAP Public Cloud and Private Cloud implementations.
Its capabilities span finance, digital supply chain management, asset maintenance, human capital management, and data analytics. DyFlex also develops proprietary implementation methodologies, accelerators, and reusable technology assets that are increasingly incorporating artificial intelligence to improve project delivery and enterprise operations.
The acquisition supports Cognizant’s AI Builder strategy, which focuses on helping enterprises translate investments in artificial intelligence into measurable operational and financial benefits. By integrating DyFlex’s regional SAP expertise with its global technology capabilities, Cognizant aims to help organizations modernize core enterprise systems while deploying AI-powered automation and intelligent business processes.
Following completion of the transaction, Cognizant intends to combine DyFlex’s consulting capabilities and proprietary delivery tools with its existing AI platforms, including Neuro AI Enterprise Core, the Cognizant SAP Agentic AI Platform, and its Frontier offerings.
These technologies are designed to help organizations move beyond limited AI pilot projects toward production-ready artificial intelligence applications and autonomous systems integrated into existing enterprise environments.
The combined capabilities are expected to support Cognizant’s broader vision of the Autonomous Enterprise, in which intelligent systems help organizations manage workflows, improve decision-making, and automate business processes across departments.
The transaction will also expand Cognizant’s access to specialized SAP professionals in Australia and New Zealand, where businesses are investing in cloud migration, enterprise modernization, data infrastructure, and AI adoption.
DyFlex’s industry experience is particularly relevant to major Australian sectors such as mining, energy, utilities, and manufacturing, which rely on complex enterprise systems to coordinate operations, manage assets, and optimize supply chains.
Cognizant expects the acquisition to strengthen its ability to deliver end-to-end transformation services, combining local consulting relationships with global engineering resources and enterprise AI technologies.
For DyFlex’s existing clients, the proposed combination is intended to maintain continuity with established consulting teams while introducing access to Cognizant’s broader industry expertise, technology platforms, and international delivery capabilities.
The acquisition is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Until the transaction is completed, Cognizant and DyFlex will continue operating as separate businesses.
The planned acquisition represents another step in Cognizant’s efforts to expand its enterprise technology services portfolio and establish a stronger position in AI-enabled SAP modernization across Australia and New Zealand.
