Colibri Group announced that it has acquired Audirie, an AI-driven simulation and assessment company focused on helping professionals build real-world skills through conversational practice, personalized assessment, and actionable feedback.
Colibri Group is a professional education company backed by Gridiron Capital. The acquisition expands Colibri’s capabilities in simulation-based learning, assessment, professional skill development, and AI-enabled learning experiences.
Audirie’s technology enables learners to practice realistic workplace scenarios through AI-powered conversational simulations. The platform is designed to help professionals build confidence, receive personalized feedback, and prepare for high-stakes real-world interactions.
Audirie’s solutions are currently deployed primarily in healthcare settings, where they help professionals practice conversations related to patient counseling, interprofessional collaboration, telehealth, and other critical professional interactions.
Colibri said the acquisition creates an opportunity to extend simulation-based learning across the broader range of professions and industries it serves, including healthcare, accounting, financial services, real estate, construction, and teacher education.
The acquisition also builds on Colibri’s existing investments in AI-powered learning tools, including Newt, Becker’s AI-powered study assistant for accounting and finance professionals, and Rubi, Colibri’s AI platform for personalized learning experiences, study support, and intelligent guidance across multiple brands and professions.
Colibri said combining Audirie’s AI simulation technology with its domain expertise and professional education experience will create new ways for professionals to practice skills, improve readiness, and prepare for career situations that require judgment, communication, and confidence.
The companies plan to focus on expanding access to Audirie’s technology across licensing, continuing education, professional development, and workforce training solutions.
