Coller Capital announced it has reached the final closing of Coller International Partners IX (CIP IX), its largest fund to date, bringing total capital raised in its latest fundraising cycle to $17 billion across its global private equity secondaries platform.

The firm, which focuses exclusively on secondaries investing, said CIP IX will pursue both LP-led and GP-led transactions worldwide, targeting a mix of single-asset and multi-asset opportunities. Coller described the strategy as centered on acquiring diversified, high-quality private equity portfolios with the goal of generating resilient, risk-adjusted returns for investors.

The $17 billion figure reflects capital raised across Coller’s broader private equity secondaries platform in the current cycle, which the firm said includes commingled funds, co-investment vehicles, separately managed accounts, and equity perpetual funds.

Coller said the fundraising attracted more than 250 investors globally, spanning pension funds, insurers, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, and other financial institutions. The firm also noted that CIP IX is already more than 70% deployed, positioning investors to access the diversification and earlier deployment profile often associated with secondaries investing.

Following the close, Coller said its assets under management stand at $50 billion. The firm reported it has 77 investment professionals operating across 11 offices globally.

In addition to its flagship secondaries franchise, Coller said it has expanded in recent years into adjacent offerings, including dedicated credit secondaries funds, equity and credit perpetual funds targeted to the wealth market, as well as insurance and structured product solutions.
