Coller Capital has announced a distribution partnership with Mediobanca Private Banking to offer its flagship evergreen private equity secondaries fund to professional investors in Italy. The agreement provides High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients in Italy with access to Coller Equity Feeder, part of Coller Capital’s $4 billion evergreen platform. Coller Capital, which manages more than $50 billion in assets, is the world’s largest dedicated private market secondaries manager.
Coller Equity Feeder offers exposure to institutional-quality private equity assets diversified by manager, fund vintage, geography and sector. The fund seeks to deliver a combination of absolute and risk-adjusted returns while offering the potential for enhanced liquidity compared with traditional closed-end private equity funds.
The partnership aligns with Mediobanca Private Banking’s strategic focus on alternatives and its track record of introducing evergreen private markets strategies to Italian professional investors. Mediobanca’s bankers will be supported by Coller’s Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions team, which includes more than 70 dedicated professionals focused on serving private wealth clients globally.
The announcement includes standard marketing and risk disclosures, noting that capital is at risk and investors may lose all or part of their investment. The firm also highlights risks including illiquidity, leverage, market conditions for secondary investments and valuation considerations.
