Colliers has acquired Ramos Consulting Services, a California-based provider of program management, construction management, and engineering services for major public transit projects, as Colliers Engineering & Design’s U.S. business looks to deepen its presence in one of the country’s most active transit markets. The companies did not disclose financial terms, and Ramos’ senior leadership will continue to lead the transit business in California while becoming significant shareholders in Colliers Engineering under the firm’s partnership model.
Founded in 2008, Ramos CS advises public transportation agencies across California. The firm’s roughly 50 professionals have supported more than $20 billion in capital programs spanning transit, transportation, and public works, giving Colliers additional scale and credibility in a high-demand infrastructure region. Colliers said the acquisition strengthens its U.S. public transportation capabilities and expands its ability to pursue larger and more complex infrastructure assignments.
Support: AEC Advisors, through its registered broker-dealer affiliate AEC Transaction Services LLC, served as exclusive financial advisor to Ramos CS.
