Comact has completed its acquisition of Oleson Saw Technology, expanding its capabilities in cutting and saw technology and reinforcing its aftermarket and consumables offerings for the wood processing industry.
Based in York, Pennsylvania, Oleson Saw Technology is known for manufacturing wide bandsaw blades and providing filing room equipment to sawmills across North America. The company will continue operating from its existing facility, ensuring continuity for both customers and employees following the transaction.
The acquisition enhances Comact’s position in cutting solutions by integrating Oleson’s expertise and established reputation. As part of the transition, Oleson will maintain its distribution of Swiss-made ISELI filing room equipment for both bandsaws and circular saws. The company will also adopt an updated visual identity aligned with Comact’s branding and launch a new website.
This move reflects Comact’s broader strategy to expand its portfolio and strengthen its presence in high-performance wood-processing technologies.
