Comand AI Raises €32 Million Series A To Accelerate NATO Deployment

Comand AI announced that it has raised €32 million in Series A funding to expand its next-generation command-and-control platform for allied defense forces.

The funding round was led by Blossom Capital, with strategic investment from Saab. The investment will support Comand AI’s efforts to scale deployment of its software across NATO and allied defense organizations at a time when militaries are seeking faster, more interoperable, and more AI-enabled systems for operational decision-making.

Comand AI is building a modern C2 platform designed to help defense forces process information, coordinate activity, and make decisions more quickly across complex operating environments. The company said its platform has already been tested and deployed with operational units in France, Germany, Ukraine, and other allied nations over the past several months.

The company’s technology is designed to help military teams move beyond legacy command systems that are slow, fragmented, and difficult to adapt to modern battlefield conditions. By using AI-enabled workflows and software designed for operational environments, Comand AI aims to give commanders and units a clearer view of the battlefield while supporting faster coordination between teams.

Comand AI plans to use the new funding to accelerate deployment across NATO, broaden the platform’s operational use cases, and continue expanding into air and maritime domains. The company said this expansion is part of its broader goal of building a software stack that can support modern defense operations across land, air, and sea.

The funding comes as allied forces increasingly require systems capable of operating at machine speed. Modern defense environments involve large volumes of data from sensors, drones, communications systems, intelligence feeds, and operational units. Comand AI said its platform is designed to help defense organizations turn that information into actionable decisions more quickly.

The company also noted that the investment will help it continue working closely with operational users. By deploying alongside active military units and incorporating feedback from real-world environments, Comand AI is positioning its platform to address practical defense requirements rather than theoretical use cases.

Comand AI said it is returning to Eurosatory two years after its first appearance at the defense and security trade show. At the event, the company plans to showcase its platform to allied defense stakeholders and highlight how its technology can support faster decision-making and more connected operations.

The company said the new Series A funding gives it the resources to expand its engineering, deployment, and customer support capabilities as demand grows from allied militaries.

Comand AI said the investment positions it to continue building command-and-control software for a new generation of defense operations, where speed, interoperability, and AI-enabled coordination are becoming increasingly important across land, air, and maritime environments.
