Commvault Names Matthew Stauble As Chief Customer Officer

Commvault appointed Matthew Stauble as Chief Customer Officer to lead the company’s global customer engineering organization. Stauble will report to Geoff Haydon, President of Customer and Field Operations.

His responsibilities span sales engineering, customer success, professional services, and customer support.

The role covers the full customer lifecycle, from technical evaluation through adoption, renewal, and expansion.

Stauble joins Commvault from data analytics company Alteryx, where he also served as Chief Customer Officer.

Before Alteryx, he was Senior Vice President of Global Customer Services at Palo Alto Networks.

At Palo Alto Networks, Stauble helped scale the customer organization as the cybersecurity company grew from tens of millions of dollars in revenue to billions.

Commvault said his experience supporting customers from adoption through renewal and expansion will help the company deepen customer relationships and support long-term growth.

His appointment comes as enterprises increase their adoption of artificial intelligence while facing heightened cyber resilience and recovery requirements.
