Complyance announced it has raised a $20 million Series A funding round led by GV (Google Ventures), with continued participation from Creandum, HV Capital, Speedinvest, and Everywhere Ventures. The company also added new angel investors that include members of the Security and GRC leadership teams from organizations such as Anthropic and Mastercard.

Based in New York, Complyance is an AI-native enterprise governance, risk, and compliance platform used by Fortune 500 companies and global enterprises. The company says its platform centralizes risk and compliance data across organizations, with built-in integrations and workflow automation designed to reduce manual work and improve risk visibility.

At the core of the product are customizable AI agents intended to execute domain-specific GRC tasks within defined workflows. Complyance says these agents can help automate evidence review, vendor assessments, risk tracking, and related compliance operations, while producing outputs intended to be reviewable and auditable and routing decisions to humans when required.

With the new capital, Complyance plans to accelerate go-to-market expansion and broaden its product roadmap for agentic automation across enterprise GRC. The company says it intends to deploy more than 30 new agents in 2026, including end-to-end third-party risk management capabilities and framework-specific automation for standards and regulations such as HIPAA, ISO, and NIST.

Complyance also highlighted customer adoption across large organizations and cited quantified outcomes tied to its approach. The company says it can reduce manual GRC work by 70% through secure automation built for complex enterprise environments, spanning controls monitoring, audit preparation, risk management, vendor onboarding and diligence, policy lifecycle management, and executive reporting.

KEY QUOTES:

“I started this company to power compliance with a (wh)y. That means automating manual work, so GRC teams are unblocked to focus on the real ‘whys’ behind security compliance: protecting the business and protecting customers. That’s hard to do when GRC teams are spending time chasing control owners and policy approvers. It’s easier to do when Complyance AI agents are simultaneously preparing evidence for your sign-off, teeing up risks for your review, and flagging vendor breaches to your team.”

Richa Kaul, Founder & CEO, Complyance

“Complyance’s product brings together the power of AI with the nuance that reflects how Enterprise GRC teams actually operate. We’re backing Complyance because they aren’t just adding AI as a feature; they are redefining the category through an agentic model that we believe will become the industry standard.”

Luna Schmid, Partner, GV

“Complyance has figured out how to deliver AI, configurability, and white-glove service for Enterprise GRC. That’s what MLS needs as an organization, and that’s what I need from our technology partners as a Security leader.”
